You can use your keyboard on Mac. Only we do not have Software for it, but it should work without any s/w. All Logitech products works on standard OS drivers and if you have any problems with it it is better to contact Apple of Microsoft. To test keyboard you can try it on different PC and if problem stays - it is hardware, if not - software.
I have the logitch wireless presenter R400. This sends the F5 key for starting/stopping presentation, and the '.' (period) key for blanking the screen. I don't use either of those features, but I do use the K key feature to pause/resume quicktime movies.
Is there a way to remap either the F5 or '.' Buttons on the remote to the pause/resume quicktime feature? I know you can do this for other features by using System Preferences/Keyboard/Keyboard Shortcuts, but you have to know the exact name of the menu item for the shortcut. Anyone solved this?
This logitech controller is not Mac OS X compatable, ( from the spec sheet ) so it wont control Keynote properly. It is set up to controll Powerpoint. The keyboard commands 'F5' and '.' Are not Keynote commands, I know they are used in Powerpoint. In Keynote '.' Is exit playback alt cmd P is play B is screen black The K command is a system command for Quicktime so this does work in Keynote for QT play control. The Logitech is a mouse device and uses mouse button control.
To change the control of the logiteck you would need Mac compatible mouse control software which isnt available for the R400. You would need to purchase a Mac compatible remote control with mouse button configuration software to work with Keynote. Apple Footer.
